Whether you call it soccer or football, if you are following the World Cup, we have an app you’ll want to check out. WC2010 is a free app that tracks all the important happenings in the World Cup, and brings them straight to your Blackberry. This fast, responsive app gets updated quickly, so you won’t miss out on any of the details.
WC2010 does an excellent job of providing up to date stats on every player, team, and game in the World Cup. If you’re going to be stuck at work when France and Mexico face off, you can still keep track of every goal with this app, just make sure your boss doesn’t see you playing with your phone on company time.
While this app provides a wide variety of info and stats on each game, we did hit one problem. WC2010 seemed to have trouble getting onto the internet to collect data from time to time. We tested a few other apps at the same time, and found our connection to be in full working order, but for some reason, WC2010 just couldn’t grab an update. It’s not really a deal breaker, especially considering the app is free, but it’s definitely something to be aware of.
Despite the connection hiccups, WC2010 is still a must-download if you’re following the World Cup.It can be frustrating when the app can’t grab an update, but most of the time everything works just fine.  Sooner or later, you’re going to miss a game, but you don’t have to miss the details if you have this app on your Blackberry. It’s available now exclusively on  Blackberry App World for free, and it supports all Blackberries, so you don’t really have an excuse not to download this app.
