Skype for BlackBerry

Skype will be releasing an official client for BlackBerry smartphones in May! Wooo hoooo! It’s about freaking time. It will allow free Skype to Skype calls via the iPhone (release on Tuesday) although no “official” word about what exactly the BlackBerry version will offer. More details to follow.

Pandora BlackBerry Client Update

It’s about time, Pandora has released an update v1.0.1. I just gave it a whirl on my Curve 8900 and it works like a charm now. Prior to this update, it would just freeze my phone. The one downside, it’s still not available for the Storm. If anyone notices any other changes, let us know.

Official Instant Messenger Client Updates

RIM has released updates for the Google Talk, AIM, Windows Live Messenger, & Yahoo Messenger clients. That’s two new updates in one month. No word on what exactly has changed or what was fixed, but you can go ahead and download the updates OTA straight from RIM right here: http://www.blackberry.com/instantmessaging
