Verizon BlackBerry Storm 9530 Running OS 4.7.0.75 from CrackBerry on Vimeo.

*Update: I installed my Storm with OS 4.7.0.75 yesterday and have been playing around with it.  So far the biggest improvement is the landscape to portrait response.  Before with 4.7.0.65, I would switch from one to the other and it would linger indefinitely until I would shake the phone a little.  Now it does not do that.  There is however some lag still when opening applications and menu’s but it is still the first update.  We all thought we were cool with OS 4.7.0.75, but BGR apparently got 4.7.0.76 and said that it is a huge leap from even 4.7.0.75!  He did not release it to anyone else, but it is just a forecast for what is in store for the OS fixes.  Be ready fellow Stormies!!!

For those of you that have Verizon Storms or Storms in general, CrackBerry has found OS 4.7.0.75 on their forums!  This is a Verizon release and is the first updated OS for Storms that shipped with OS 4.7.0.65.  This update is not yet available for BIS users on Desktop Manager, but should be for BES users.  None the less, someone has gotten a hold of the leak and is hosting the download.  I have not yet installed this new update on my Storm, but I am in the process.  The video above is the video CrackBerry posted with the new OS and it seems to be running smoother and faster.  This could be what we have all been waiting for!  Now I might not have to explain to people that the iPhone is not better because it is more responsive and you can play it like a harmonica.  So go download the update.
