Gary Krakow of TheStreet.com on Blackberry
This was posted by everyone yesterday, however I didn’t get a chance to watch it(which was a mistake) or else I would have put it up sooner. First off, Gary Krakow is the Senior Technology Correspondent for TheStreet.com and seems to be very whiny. If you watch the video, he is complaining about the trackball on his Blackberry 8820. Apparently 8820’s and 8830’s(other phone featured in the video) trackballs stop working within 1-6 months. He later proceeds to their IT department and talks to a tech that says they have issues with their trackballs and they have to replace them every 1-2 months. He then is back at his desk critisizing RIM’s quality and how it should be built to last longer blah blah blah.
Response:
Gary, it is a very sad thing that you made a video about how you don’t like Blackberry trackballs. I have had my 8820 and I have had a few issues with my trackball because I dropped it, but the key observation in this story is that I did not post a video whining that my phone is broken. If you don’t use it, buy a different phone. It’s really a simple solution. No one cares and the only reason your video is popular is because we are all laughing at you while we are sitting at our desks listening to your rant.
P.S. Blackberries are the shit and most people know it and the trackball is brilliant. Complain when the Atomic Trackball comes out on the Curve 8900.
