There was so much news this weekend that I missed it was ridiculous.  I was on vacation for the weekend so bare with me.  First up is the news on some new devices that will be arriving possibly in the near future.  First up is the Blackberry Niagra(at least for now).  The Niagra was originally thought to be the Bold’s long lost name(thank God, and I hope RIM renames this phone), we now know is going to be a CDMA EVDO Rev. A device.  This phone will have similar styling to the Storm 9530 and possibly a little Bold as well.

The next phone we have is the all new Blackberry Apex.  This is going to be the CDMA EVDO Rev. 0 version of the Pearl Flip 8220.  This has a suspected release of 2009, and with no word on the Niagra release.  This Apex could have been expected and will probably be a Verizon device in the U.S.

One more bit of rumor is another Curve type phone called the 8330 Jupiter which will be a Curve 8900 CDMA EVDO Rev. 0 device.  No other word on this at the moment, but I’m sure there is more to come.
