We knew that Fido was getting close to finally launching BlackBerry, so this is no real surprise.  Ronen over at Berry Review got tipped off that Feb. 4th will be the day.  Fido is going to start off with the Pearl 8100 with BIS only.  The plan and phone rates will be:

I’m not sure how long this will last, but Verizon Wireless is offering BlackBerry Pearl 8130’s in 2 different colors for $19.99 after a mail-in rebate and signing your life away for 2 years. Not a bad deal if you dig Verizon.
