This morning RIM officially announced the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and it didn’t take long for several carriers to do the same. AT&T, Bell, Rogers and T-Mobile have all recently announced the new Bold. You can also add Vodafone UK to that list and they went as far as already letting you pre-order the device.

Rogers Raises Prices to Make Up for Excess Spending
All you Rogers customers out there, I feel for you. BGR just reported that Rogers recently raised their prices for BlackBerries on 3yr contracts. The prices are now 149.99 (up $50) for Curve 83xx’s, $224.99 (up $25) for Curve 8900’s and the Bold went up to $299.99 (up $50). Yikes, those are like US prices. [...]
BlackBerry App World Pricing
The pricing has been posted live on the BlackBerry Developer website. I for one am happy they’re not offering $0.99 applications, that it can either be free and the next level up will be $2.99. Hopefully this will do away with a lot of pointless iPhone-like applications– well or maybe it’s worst because now they [...]

T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 Pricing!
*Update: I just received an update from Mauricio about the pricing info. Apparently the pricing is for corporate users, however I was told that usually the public gets the same pricing, except for the 1 year renewal option. This is as I suspected, so expect the pricing to be the same with other possible rebates [...]

Finally the pricing is out for Telus’ chief competitor Bell Mobility’s BlackBerry Storm. We all knew that it was going to be pretty competitive with Telus’ pricing set at $249.99 on a 3 year contract, and it doesn’t disappoint. Bell will be selling the BlackBerry Storm for $249.95 on a 3 year contract. Oh yes, [...]
