BlackBerry Announces New Partnership with Slack

Earlier this year, BlackBerry joined the AppConfig Community as a EMM Member.  The AppConfig community was launched to help simplify application development and deployment.  It also aims to help accelerate adoption of applications.  This allows development teams to create configuration policies for applications that work consistently across multiple platforms. Well this has allowed BlackBerry to to create many new great partnerships.  One of the latest partnerships, is a one with the powerful workplace collaboration platform, Slack!

With this partnership, BlackBerry will be integrating BlackBerry UEM with Slack through AppConfig.  This will allow clients to deploy and manage it alongside BlackBerry’s Dynamics-Secured apps, including BlackBerry Work,80+ ISV apps, and 4,000+ custom apps that are deployed through BlackBerry’s SDKs.

“Transforming your business requires more than a few innovative ideas. It requires hard work and skilled software developers. Moreover, it requires a partner with a flexible portfolio, extensive expertise, and dedication to its clients.

BlackBerry is exactly that – and our partnership with Slack is just one more demonstration of that fact.”

Teaming up Slack help enterprises worry less about compromising their data thanks to BlackBerry’s Security Expertise! It will be exciting to see where this partnership takes BlackBerry and Slack!
