BlackBerry KeyOne Officially Announced at Mobile World Congress!

Today in Barcelona, BlackBerry Mobile kicked off Mobile World Congress in true fashion. We have been waiting for months for the reveal of what use to be known as the BlackBerry Mercury.  This full qwerty Android powered BlackBerry device is now known as the BlackBerry KeyOne!

The BlackBerry KeyOne is supporting a 4.5″ scratch resistant touchscreen display, SnapDragon 625 processor and a 12MP camera. We will have a full spec list shortly on!

The BlackBerry Keyone will be globally available in April of 2017 for $549 USD, £499, and ¢599. You can preorder the device here from BlackBerryMobile’s website! No word yet on where you will be able to purchase the device or what carriers will support it. From the network specs it looks like it might not support some of the CDMA bands here in the US.

This is such an exciting time for BlackBerry and we will be covering the BlackBerry KeyOne as much as possible, stay tuned!
