Canadian Unlocked BlackBerry KEYone Devices Pushed Back until Later this Summer

If you have been looking forward to purchasing a carrier unlocked verison of the BlackBerry KEYone in Canada, we have some slightly bad news for you.  It looks like the launch of the carrier unlocked versions of the BlackBerry KEYone has been pushed back to late summer.  The reason for the delay is to meet carrier partner demands as stated in a statement issued to CrackBerry.

“To meet our carrier partner demand — including expanded availability at Telus — the open market launch for the BlackBerry KEYone in Canada will begin later this summer.”

While this might be slight sad news to some, it is great to see the BlackBerry KEYone seeing great carrier demand, especially in Canada. We will let you know as soon as we find out more information on when you can purchase a Carrier Unlocked Version of the BlackBerry KEYone in Canada.
