New BlackBerry Keyboard update Brings Word Predictions Improvements

It looks like this week is a good week for BlackBerry Android app updates. The other day we saw a new update roll out for the BlackBerry Hub+ and BlackBerry Hub+ Services and today a new update is available for the BlackBerry Keyboard.

This new update for the BlackBerry Keyboard, which is available via the Google Play Store, brings some improvements to word predictions. There have been some users complaining about the keyboard not predicting words correctly and hopefully, this fixes it.

BlackBerry Keyboard Update Brings:

  • The list of words your keyboard learned is cleared when installing this update
  • Improved typing experience in Chinese or Vietnamese
  • See the current language on the space bar if you set up more than one language
  • Access keyboard settings by pressing and holding the settings icon above the keyboard
  • Improved word predictions
  • You can no longer set up a third language for the multi-language keyboard feature
  • The restricted words list is no longer available

One of my new favorite changes that the update brings is the ability to access the keyboard settings right from the keyboard itself. It was always a pain to have to dig through the settings menus until you found the settings.

Fire up the Google Play Store updates and grab the latest update! Make sure you let us know in the comments below what you think of the new update!
