New Leaked Photos of the BlackBerry KEY2 Appear Days before Launch Event

Well if you don’t like spoilers, you might want to continue to a different article!  BlackBerry Mobile is set to unveil the BlackBerry KEY2 during a live event in New York City on June 7th, this Thursday.  The BlackBerry KEY2 has been a very highly anticipated device and many folks have been dying to learn more about the device leading up to the unveiling.

The BlackBerry KEY2 has been well kept under wraps over at BlackBerry Mobile, getting very few leaked images posted online. Well, that is until a few days before the launch event!

Our good friend Evan Blass (@evleaks) posted on his twitter accounts some very good looking photos of the BlackBerry KEY2!

These photos show the BlackBerry KEY2 resembling the BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition.   The BlackBerry KEY2 seems to have the same silver housing that the BlackBerry Passport SE had on it, giving it a really nice look! The backing has a really nice look to it, kind of resembling the backing on the Passport SE as well. I am really digging the look and think it brings a little bit of BlackBerry nostalgia to the BlackBerry KEY2.  There also seems to be a stealth Black version of the device according to Evan’s tweets.  The Stealth black looks just as nice as the KEYone Black Edition does and will make my buying decision very tough!

For those who are saying it looks different than previous leaks, keep in mind that the FCC filing showed that the device when through several hardware revisions along its journey.

We are only a few days away from seeing the BlackBerry KEY2 in New York City. Keep it locked on as I will be live at the event!
