WhatsApp on BlackBerry 10 and BlackBerry OS Will no Longer Be Supported Starting December 31 2017

If you are a BlackBerry 10 or BlackBerry OS user that is still using WhatsApp, you will really want to make sure you have an alternative messaging app to switch to.  Whatsapp will be discontinuing support for the BlackBerry 10 and BlackBerry OS Whatsapp version on December 31st, 2017.

If you are looking for options, you have a few to choose from.  The first one, of course, is sideloading the Android version of Whatsapp onto your BlackBerry 10 device.  You can also download WhatsUp10 from BlackBerry World. WhatsUp10 is from the folks over at Nemory Studios and is a great little Whatsapp alternative on BlackBerry 10. The third option is upgrading your BlackBerry 10 device or BlackBerry OS device to a shiny new BlackBerry Android device like the BlackBerry KEYone or the BlackBerry Motion. Finally, the last option is moving over to BBM. Even on BlackBerry 10, BBM is still one of the best messaging platforms out there, and it is cross-platform just like Whatsapp.  BBM has been a lot more stable and reliable compared to Whatsapp as of late as well.

Nonetheless, you will have to choose an option before the year is over. All the options are great options, no matter which one you decide.  Let us know in the comments below which option you plan on taking!
